Quality Control in Production

The main objective of a quality control system is to prevent poor quality in production. Because the business was not established for the purpose of obtaining poor quality products due to an error that cannot be recovered. If the business does not take any precautions in this regard and puts faulty products on the market, it will face a loss due to loss of prestige and decrease in sales.

The purpose of quality control is to develop, implement and effectively implement plans and programs that will ensure the production of a product that can meet consumer demands and the general purpose of the business together at the most economical level possible. In order to achieve this general purpose, quality control has a number of secondary objectives. These:

Ensuring the highest efficiency from the machinery and workforce at hand by ensuring that the work is done perfectly at the beginning,

Providing the company with the products that fall within the desired ranges to the buyer

Preventing the waste of national wealth by preventing the products from becoming idle before they reach the end of their economic life,

Establishing confidence in domestic products in domestic markets, gaining competitive power in foreign markets,

Development of product quality standard (size, unit, material, hardness and other properties),

Reducing operating and quality costs, raising the morale of business members and regulating employee and employer relations,

Satisfaction of the consumer by seeing that he/she gets what he/she pays for, reduction of customer complaints and protection of the consumer.

In terms of the manufacturer, the purpose of quality control is to meet the needs of consumers in domestic and foreign markets by producing high quality goods or services. In the project processes, it allows to see whether the part completed until that date is realized within the planned constraints (such as cost, time). Most projects have units for quality control only.
